Officers were called to reports of a burglary occurred at around 11.30am on 2 October 2024 on Ashton Lane in Trafford.
The victims left the property to go out and when they returned they realised the door was ajar and a man was in their property. The victim asked the man what he was doing and was pushed to the side by the man causing superficial injuries to the victim’s hand.
Through enquiries so far, it is believed that the property was entered through the front door. It was reported that a bank card, jewellery, a laptop and shaving kit were stolen from the property.
Detective Constable Jenna Hibbert of Trafford’s Neighbourhood crime team, said: “It is unacceptable for anybody to feel unsafe in their own home, which is why tackling burglary remains one of GMP’s top priorities.”
We are looking to identify the man in the image as he may be able to assist us with our enquiries, if you have any information, CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage from Ashton Lane around the time of the burglary, or can identify the man in the image please contact officers on 0161 856 7679 quoting 1960 2/10/24 or report via LiveChat facility on gmp.police.uk.
