Today (Saturday 26 October 2024), local Bury detectives have secured a charge from an incident earlier this week where an arrest was initially made.
Daudi Bakari (15/08/2006) from Grange Grove, Whitefield has been charged with Grievous Bodily Harm (GBH) with intent and and possession of offensive weapon in a public place.
He has been remanded in custody ahead of an appearance at Manchester and Salford Magistrates Court on Monday 28 October 2024.
This charge is in relation to an incident from the St John’s Court area of Radcliffe on Thursday 25 October 2024. Thankfully, injuries sustained by the victim are not believed to be life-threatening and is believed to be targeted, with no wider threat to the public.
