GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for witnesses following a serious collision in Manchester

At around 3:03pm yesterday afternoon (Friday 18 October) on Blackley New Road, a female driver had a suspected medical episode whilst driving her car, resulting in a collision with another car and a bus.

The collision resulted in serious injury for the female driver. A scene was put in place and the driver was taken to hospital for treatment on her injuries, which are potentially life-threatening.

Investigators are now appealing for anyone who may have dash cam, mobile phone or CCTV footage to come forward and assist their investigation.
