At 12:30pm yesterday afternoon (Thursday 17 October) we were called to reports of a serious collision between a car and a pedestrian on Edge Lane in Stretford.
It’s believed that as the pedestrian crossed the road, a car collided with him. A 69-year-old man was taken to hospital for further treatment, his injuries are believed to be serious, but thankfully not life changing.
The driver remained at the scene to assist with enquiries.
