On Monday 9 September 2024 at around 10.50am, we responded to a road traffic collision involving a police vehicle and a pedestrian, on Rochdale Road, Manchester.
The pedestrian, an 82-year-old woman, was taken to hospital with minor injuries.
In-line with normal procedure, referrals have been made to GMP’s Professional Standards Directorate and the IOPC.
Investigators in GMP’s Serious Collision Investigation Unit are making enquiries and are appealing for witnesses in the area around the time of the incident to come forward and assist with our enquiries.
