We are continuing to investigate a theft that occurred on Angel Street and Rochdale Road in Manchester near to the city centre at around 6:30pm on Tuesday 24 September 2024.
Following initial enquiries, officers would like to identify this person on an electric bike as they believe they have vital information that could help with the investigation.
PC Lewis Mellor from our City of Manchester North district said; “Whilst we look to identify and arrest those responsible we are asking for people in the city centre to remain vigilant of their personal belongings and to ensure they don’t become distracted whilst on the hight street.
“In this case we are looking at a high-value iPhone was taken whilst it was in the victim’s hand. We understand the distress these incidents can have especially when it can happen in the blink of an eye."
If anyone has information or detail that could assist our officers, they are asked to call 101 quoting incident 2987 of 24/09/2024. Alternatively, details can be passed on anonymously to Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
