Shortly before 2am this morning (Friday 13 September) we were called to reports of a suspected firearms discharge on Claremont Road, Manchester.
It's believed that someone on a pedal bike shot at a property on Claremont Road, close to the junction of Yew Tree Road. Thankfully, no injuries have been reported.
A scene remains in place this morning whilst officers conduct further enquiries and an investigation is underway.
Detectives are appealing to the public for information. If you know more about this incident, or were perhaps in the area at the time and saw something suspicious, we urge you to come forward. Police are also particularly keen to speak to anyone who has doorbell, dashcam, or CCTV footage from the surrounding areas.
