Officers from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit are appealing for information and witnesses following a road traffic collision in Timperley.
At around 9:32am yesterday (Monday 15 September 2025), we were called to reports of a collision on Moss Lane at the junction of the A560.
It is believed that the driver of a Ford Kuga suffered a medical episode behind the wheel of the vehicle and collided with a garden wall.
Sadly, the driver of the car – a man aged 87 – died at hospital.
As officers continue their investigation, they are asking for anyone with information to please come forward.
This includes anyone who witnessed the incident, or has CCTV, dashcam, or doorbell footage from the area.
