A man has been charged for sexual offences in Salford

Erion Krasniqi (20/05/1994) of no fixed abode has been charged with two counts of rape.

He has been remanded ahead of an appearance at Manchester & Salford Magistrates Court on Tuesday 25 February 2025.

These charges are a result of an investigation following an incident at Albert Park in Salford on Saturday 22 February 2025 where an arrest was made the same day.

Detective Inspector Lee Gridley said; “Since we became aware of this incident we were able to support the bravery of the victim to ensure we carried out our enquiries effectively and highlights when reports are made, we do listen and we do take action.”
