Officers are appealing for information following reports of a bike robbery near a leisure centre on Bramhall Moor Lane in Stockport.
Shortly after 3pm on Friday 14 February, a 13-year-old on a bike saw a black/grey moped pass him before turning back towards him.
A male then jumped off the moped and grabbed the victim’s handlebars, making threats before managing to get control of the bike.
Another male on the moped then rode off while the other peddled the bike towards the nearby roundabout.
One of the males is described as white, around 5’8’, with a slim build, and a teenager. He was wearing a thin grey jacket and had a Mancunian accent.
The other male is described as being a bit taller and bigger, with a balaclava and big black coat. He was also believed to be a teenager.
The bike is a grey ‘SPECIALISED STATUS’ pedal bike with ‘STATUS’ on the bottom of the frame in light blue.
It also has blue grips on the handlebars and blue pedals, while the mudguards for the wheels have the fox logo on them.
It has a shock on the frame which says 'FOXFLOW X', and the chassis number for the bike is WSBC001012479T.
