Detectives have charged Josh Baxter (18/11/1997) of Blackley with manslaughter, following the death of a man at 10.15pm on Sunday 26 January 2025.
He has since been remanded into custody and is due to appear at Manchester Crown Court on Friday 28 February 2025.
This charge comes after the ambulance service responded to a concern for the welfare of a man at an address on Lakeside Rise, Blackley. Tragically, this man was deceased.
We can now name the victim as 38-year-old Michael Anthony Barron. His family continue to be supported by specially trained officers and are aware of the progress being made in this investigation.
