Officers are appealing for information following reports of a burglary at a business on Manchester Road, Bolton.
At around 12.55am on Wednesday 8 January, it is believed a male broke into a flat above a restaurant, before breaking through the ceiling by ripping up floorboards. Thousands of pounds of damage was subsequently caused to the ceiling and lighting.
A cash float and business mobile phone was taken during the incident.
Officers investigating the burglary have now released an image of a man they would like to speak to, as it is believed that he could help with their enquiries.
