Following an incident on Friday 27 December 2024 at around 7pm, officers were made aware of an incident near to Piccadilly Gardens.
After an altercation and confrontation, it resulted in an assault of security guards who were carrying out their roles. Thankfully, injuries sustained by the victims didn’t suffer any injuries that were life-threatening or life changing.
From conducting initial enquires, officers want to identify these two men who they believe have vital information that could help with the investigation.
No arrests have been made at this stage.
PC Tom Wyatt from Operation Vulcan said; “When we were made aware of this incident over the festive period we’ve ensured we have explored all available opportunities to find those responsible, but are now in a position to appeal to the public to further assist us, especially these two men who we believe can help with our enquiries.
“As a team we are constantly patrolling this key area within the city centre to ensure the safety of residents and those visiting.
