Officers are appealing for information following a robbery which was reported to have happened on the corner of Crosby Street and Leyton Street in Rochdale on Thursday 6 March 2025 at 10:40am.
Following initial enquiries, it is believed that the victim was walking down the street when she was knocked to the floor by an unknown suspect, before having her handbag stolen.
A 77-year-old woman was taken to the hospital with injuries that are thought to be life changing.
Officers investigating this incident have followed up with several lines of enquiry and are now in a position to ask for the public’s assistance.
