At 4pm on Wednesday 5 March we were called to reports of a road traffic collision on Mottram Road Hyde between a car and a pedestrian.
A 9-year-old girl was taken to hospital for further treatment. At this stage, her injuries are thankfully not believed to be life threatening or life changing.
A 47-year-old man was arrested on suspicion of causing serious injury by dangerous driving. He has since been bailed pending further enquiries.
Police are now appealing for anyone who may have witnessed the incident to come forward.
They are also keen to speak to anyone who may have any footage, including dashcam, mobile phone footage from the area in the moments leading up to the collision.
