Officers are appealing for information after a woman’s bag was taken from a restaurant in the Bolton area.
At around 10.40am on 13 November, a 90-year-old woman who had just visited a health centre had been having a cup of tea on Waters Meeting Road to recover when she got up to get a taxi.
Her walking frame was briefly stuck on a chair and while rectifying this, she accidentally left her bag
When she realised upon reaching her taxi, the driver went back inside to find that it had been taken. It is believed a man took her bag once she had left.
The bag contained around £100 cash, medication, a notebook, and other personal items. The bag is described as being large bag of multicoloured blue, black and grey tones.
Officers investigating the theft have now released an image of a man they would like to speak to, as it is believed that he could help with their enquiries.
