The family and friends of a man who died following a collision on Upper Brook Street, Manchester, have paid tribute as officers continue to appeal for more information.
David Williams, 72, suffered serious injuries in the collision which occurred at 8:25am on Monday 27 October.
David was taken to hospital for treatment but sadly died in hospital on Wednesday 19 November.
In a tribute to David, a family spokesperson said: “David’s loss has affected many people deeply not just his family and friends, but also his colleagues and the many people he has helped.
"He had a long successful career in teaching and when retired, continued his work in caring.
"Dave was a much-loved brother, uncle, neighbour, friend and for many years a devoted carer for his husband Martin.
"Dave was great and loyal friend, never judging but always there to offer support and encouragement.
"He will be truly and deeply missed but remains with us through our memories, shared laughter and joy and the positive impact he has had on so many people’s lives.”
