Our officers were called at around 4am yesterday morning (Tuesday 14 April 2026) to reports of criminal damage at a premises on Booth Street in Manchester.
One woman, aged 21, was arrested on suspicion of conspiracy to cause criminal damage. She has been bailed pending further enquiries.
Enquiries are ongoing to establish the full circumstances of this incident.
Inspector Kam Hare from the City Centre Neighbourhood Policing Team said: “We understand the concern this may cause in the local community and we are working closely with our city centre partners and local businesses following this incident.
"We would like to reassure the community that we believe this to be a targeted incident which does not pose any further risk to the wider public.
"Our officers continue to patrol the area to provide reassurance and visibility, and we urge anyone with concerns to please speak with them"
