A man from West Yorkshire has been charged following the protests in Manchester city centre on Saturday 21 February 2026.
Paul Andrew Berry (03/06/1966), of Branstone Grove, Ossett, has been charged with assaulting an emergency worker.
He was arrested by officers from the City of Manchester Neighbourhood Policing Team on 02/03/26 and has been bailed to appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on 29 June 2026
A total of 11 people were arrested on the day with five currently on bail or released under investigation.
Ryan Ferguson (05/11/1999) of Barberry Crescent, Bootle, Liverpool, was previously charged with breach of a dispersal notice and will appear at Manchester Magistrates’ Court on 22 June 2026.
