The Serious Collison Investigation Unit are appealing for information following a crash in Hyde that left two with serious injuries.

At approximately 5.30pm on the evening of Sunday 1 December 2024, police were alerted to a serious collision on Talbot Road, Hyde.
Upon police arrival one vehicle was found with extensive damage and two people with life-threatening and life-changing injuries.
Greater Manchester Fire and Rescue Service (GMFRS) were on hand to extract the driver and front seat passenger from the vehicle and NWAS treated them at the scene before taking them to hospital for treatment, where they remain.
With initial investigations carried out, it is suspected that the vehicle had crashed into a perimeter wall of an industrial building, which caused significant front and near side damage.
We are now appealing for anyone for anyone who may have witnessed the incident.
