A fifth man has been charged in connection with a suspected drive-by shooting on Briscoe Lane, Newton Heath earlier this year.
Police were called at 1.40pm on Tuesday 19 January to a report of a firearms discharge on Briscoe Lane, Newton Heath.
Seven people have been arrested as part of the investigation led by GMP's City of Manchester North team.
Michael Davis (27/12/1987) of Haverfield Rd, Manchester, was charged with conspiring to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life yesterday (19 July).
He appeared at Manchester Magistrates' Court this morning (20 July) and was remanded into custody.
The following people have previously been charged with conspiring to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life and appeared in court on 15 July.
The three were also remanded into custody.
Karl Barry Souter (05/02/1982), of Henton Walk, has been charged with aggravated vehicle taking without consent and conspiracy to possess a firearm with intent to endanger life/enable another to do so. He appeared at court on 17 July and was released on bail subject to conditions.
