Greater Manchester Police have significantly increased its policing operation surrounding Caribbean Carnival this weekend in Alexandra Park.
On Wednesday 9 August at around 1:35pm, officers were called to reports of a road traffic collision involving a car and a pedestrian on Wood Street in Middleton, Rochdale.
From 31 July to 6 August, the operation saw the Neighbourhood Crime Team (NCT), Tactical Vehicle Intercept Unit (TVIU) and Cheshire Police work together to prevent and apprehend those committing home burglaries across the south of Manchester and Cheshire.
