Around 3.15am this morning (Monday 1 July 2024), we received a report of a road traffic collision that had occurred on York Street, Heywood.

On Thursday 27 June, at around 2:40pm, we were called to reports that a 16-year-old boy had been stabbed in leg at the junction of Spring Lane and Butterworth Street.

Shortly before 4pm on Thursday 27 June we were called to reports of a stabbing on Edge Hall Road in Orrel, Wigan. Following extensive enquiries, our officers have now arrested an 18-year-old on suspicion of attempted murder.
