Operation AVRO - Bolton #2
A new force-wide initiative - codenamed Operation AVRO - which will run each month in a different district.
We will bring you real-time updates including images and video as activity continues throughout the day.

Earlier today during our #OpAVRO traffic operation, officers siezed a vehicle suspected of being driven illegally on our roads with no insurance.
The sniffer dog alerted our Trading Standards team to the wall of a shop in Farnworth.

A man has been arrested in Bolton following a search by officers who discovered a suspected bladed article. Total arrests now stand at 33 for various offences.

Officers have made an arrest following the discovery of a suspected cannabis farm at an address in Bolton. This brings the total arrests to 24 so far as part of #OpAVRO.
