This site is a beta, which means it's a work in progress and we'll be adding more to it over the next few weeks. Your feedback helps us make things better, so please let us know what you think.
We understand that, as a victim of crime, you want to feel that your matter is taken seriously and to be kept informed and updated and these are your right under the Victims Code.
Frontline Officers and staff have their own contact cards to provide you with their name, collar number and email address. The card also details your crime or incident reference number. Depending on the crime or incident, you should receive a contact card from your OIC (Officer in the case) to enable you to contact them directly for an update or to pass on further information, rather than using alternative communication channels like 101 or Live Chat.
The Local Policing Team telephone number and email address on the reverse of the card, at the bottom, is there for you to use if you have tried to contact your OIC but received no response. Please note these numbers may only been monitored during office hours (Monday to Friday, 8am - 4pm).
