Below is a summary of activity we've undertaken as part of the Safe4Summer campaign across Stockport:

Officers in Stockport have secured a further Criminal Behaviour Order (CBO) in the district’s bid to tackle retail crime across Stockport town centre.
During the latest day of action tackling crime and anti-social behaviour as part of Operation Rimini, one offender was arrested and charged with three theft offences as well as being issued with a CBO, which takes the total active CBOs up to 14.
This monthly day of action is headed up by our local neighbourhood policing team and supported by other specialist units within GMP and key partner agencies.
As well as tackling criminality, there is also a key focus on community engagement alongside our wider campaign, Safe4Summer.

No one was in the property at the time, and enquiries are ongoing into the investigation.
Sergeant Andy Kindness from our Stockport neighbourhood team said, “Following intelligence received, we were able to conduct further enquiries and have managed to uncover and dismantle a large operation.
“The plants and equipment seized will be destroyed, with this being one more step towards our commitment to tackling criminality on the streets of Stockport.
“We understand how the production and distribution of illegal drugs can have a negative impact on our communities, and we will continue to pursue those intent on causing misery.
“As part of our Safe4Summer campaign, we are committed to tackling issues that cause our communities concern, so please continue to report these to us. Every report helps us to build our intelligence picture and tackle criminality.”
