The ‘Be a force for all’ campaign is the biggest national recruitment drive in decades and follows the Prime Minister’s commitment to recruit 20,000 new police officers across the UK over the next three years. Greater Manchester Police are pleased to be part of this campaign and look forward to the exciting times ahead for the force.

GMP’s current recruitment is significant and this will continue to be so. We are committed to achieving an inclusive and diverse workforce reflective of the communities we serve and would welcome an expression of interest from candidates of all backgrounds. We are also interested in candidates who have language skills reflective of the communities that GMP serves. We are particularly interested in any candidates who can speak Urdu, Polish, Romanian, Bengali, Czech, Hungarian, Farsi, Hindi, Punjabi, Lithuanian, Somali and Arabic.

We are currently not accepting applications for expressions of interest to join GMP as an Officer at this time. We are currently dealing with the applications that have been submitted to us recently and will re-open the portal for expressions of interest shortly. Thank you for your interest in GMP, please check back here soon.
