Read on to find out more about why our communications and engagement team play such a vital role in GMP.
“Corporate Comms have been invaluable to Operation Vulcan. From the initial launch they have provided support by way of a detailed communications strategy, offering creative and effective methods to deliver our message to the public, and also to the criminals who operate in the Cheetham Hill and Strangeways area.
They created a bespoke information booklet detailing the Vulcan “plan” which was distributed to partners to enlist their pledges of support for partnership working.
They provided advice and support in preparing our launch which involved a partnership “summit” and were invaluable on the day in co-ordinating and recording responses from our partners.
They provide daily support to our operational team, accompanying them on days of action, warrants and planned arrests, in addition to unplanned reactive incidents.
They have generated interest from local and National press outlets, co-ordinating interviews, articles and TV appearances to support the Vulcan communications strategy.
Public support for this important Operation is extremely positive as a direct result of the key messaging delivered by GMP corporate comms branch”
Thank you so very much for organising a wreath and wording, ready for me to lay the wreath at the GMP Memorial on Armistice Day.
It was a poignant and special moment that I will never forget.
Thank you for making that moment possible.
I am aware that there are huge demands on your time to fulfil your role within GMP and you deliver with such grace and efficiency.
