Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is a group of local police officers and staff dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of police officers and a dedicated Police Community Support Officer (PCSO). These are supported by additional officers and staff from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for your area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on the basics: to fight, prevent and reduce crime, whilst keeping people safe and caring for victims.
If you want to receive regular updates about what we're doing in your area, want to contact us easily with your feedback, or receive alerts about incidents, you can sign up to our community alerts system. You'll receive emails or text messages about the issues you tell us you want to know about.

1. Burglary – As Autumn approaches and we have darker nights there can often be an increase in such offences in the lead up to Christmas. We will increase patrols both high visibility and also targeted plain clothes patrols as well as monitoring known offenders, particularly when they are released from Prison. The Local PCSO will assist with reassurance visits and CCTV / House to House enquiries when offences do occur.
2. Off Road Bike Activity – This occurs in the rural and urban areas of the wards, we have a dedicated operation to deal with these issues in which we work with the community and other partners. This includes a mixture or crime prevention/target hardening and enforcement.
3. Anti Social behaviour Sudden - A group of youths who have been causing issues in this area have been identified. We have increased patrols in the area and will use stop search tactics and other enforcement methods when appropriate as well as looking into all reports of ASB made by members of the public.
