Police Sergeant Mbondiah
I have proudly served with Greater Manchester Police for the past eight years, with a background in frontline Response policing. I currently perform the role of Neighbourhood Sergeant for Castleton, Balderstone and Kirkholt.
I am responsible for a team of Police Constables and Police Community Support Officers who work proactively alongside residents, local businesses and partner agencies to identify and address issues that matter most to our communities.
Our key priorities focus on tackling crime and anti-social behaviour, disrupting drug-related activity, improving road safety and addressing concerns raised by local residents.
I encourage you to attend community meetings and share your concerns to help us identify priorities and work together to keep our neighbourhoods safe.
I am PC Woodward.
I have recently joined the Neighbourhood Policing Team and will be working within the Castleton area, following the last 2 years in response policing. I am a proactive officer, and I'm looking forward to getting to know my local area, build positive relationships within the community, and tackle issues through effective problem-solving.
I’m looking forward to making a positive difference in the area I serve.
I’m Clement Jones, Inspector, covering the areas of Castleton, Balderstone & Kirkholt, Kingsway, Smallbridge & Firgrove, Wardle & West Littleborough, Littleborough Lakeside and Milnrow & Newhey in Rochdale.
I have worked in GMP for nearly 20 years covering a variety of roles including Response, Custody and Neighbourhood Policing at all ranks.
I have a dedicated team of Sergeants, Constables and PCSO’s who are committed to their areas and work alongside the community to achieve results.
We aim to keep in touch through our social media pages, “Bee in the Loop” and other regular surgeries in the local area.
You can contact any of your neighbourhood staff directly and we aim to respond as soon as we can to any issues.
I cover a diverse area, however the common themes of crime and anti-social behaviour, drug dealing and road safety remain our core business in each ward area.
I look forward to meeting you in your individual communities.
PC Barran
Neighbourhood Officer – Castleton
I have served with Greater Manchester Police for 3 years and currently work as the neighbourhood officer for Castleton. My role is to work closely with residents, businesses and partner agencies to address local concerns and improve community safety.
My current focus includes ASB, drugs and supporting long-term problem solving within the community. I regularly attend neighbourhood engagement events at Castleton Library and work with local partners including the council, housing and councillors to tackle the issues that matter most to residents and us.
I encourage members of the community to attend local meetings and share their concerns so that together we can help make our neighbourhood a safer place to live, work and visit.
