Officers investigating the death of a 38-year-old woman in Milnrow have issued an update.
We are appealing for information following a road traffic incident in Littleborough on Saturday 11 July 2026.
Officers from our Serious Collision Investigation Unit (SCIU) are appealing for information following a fatal collision that occurred on the M62 in Rochdale.
Crime and anti-social behaviour in Rochdale town centre have fallen significantly following the first year of Operation Tetbury, a targeted policing initiative launched in April 2025.
At around 4pm on Monday 25 May 2026, we were called to reports of a concern for welfare at an address on Tweedale Street, Rochdale.

Your local neighbourhood team will be in and around the area to target the anti-social behaviour and illegal use of off road bikes. Proactive patrols have been conducted in relation to reports of drug dealing occurring within the area.

- To target speeding and inconsiderate motorists
We are also committed to gathering intelligence related to organised crime to help us tackle issues such as drug supply.

Your local officers assist with CCTV enquiries, high visibility patrols, crime prevention surgeries and local operations to reduce retail crimes.
Officers complete a number of traffic operations to reduce speeding and inconsiderate motorists.
Your local neighbourhood team will be in and around the area to target the anti-social behaviour. We will continue to remain visible in the area and work with partners to tackle this.
Dealing with anti social behaviour from off road bike activity and speeding and inconsiderate motorists is also a priority in which we will be looking to arrange a number of traffic operations in the coming months
