Welcome to your Stockport West Neighbourhood Policing Pages
I am Police Inspector Damien Lutman and have ownership of the Neighbourhood Policing Teams for Reddish, Reddish North, The Heatons, Cheadle, Gatley, Cheadle Hulme, Heald Green, Bramhall North, Bramhall South and Woodford.
I joined Great Manchester Police in 2007 after starting my policing career with the Metropolitan Police in 1997. I have worked a variety of front-line uniformed roles and specialist policing roles in both of the forces I have served in.
I took over the West Neighbourhood Inspector in March 2026 and care about effective partnership work to tackle long term problems and how best to support our communities.
My team and I work hard to understand the priorities and concerns of the communities we serve and it is important we work closely together to solve these issues. On these pages you will find the details for your local officers working in your area; please contact them.
You can find out about what the police in your area are doing on our local social media pages and by signing up to Bee in the Loop at www.beeintheloop.co.uk.
I would encourage you to come to your local Police and Communities Together Meeting and again raise any issues directly with your Neighbourhood Policing Team.
