Your Neighbourhood Policing Team
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is a group of local police officers and staff dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of police officers and a dedicated Police Community Support Officer (PCSO). These are supported by additional officers and staff from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for your area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on the basics: to fight, prevent and reduce crime, whilst keeping people safe and caring for victims.

The Droylsden West Neighbourhood Policing Team is focusing on antisocial behaviour linked to tram transport links throughout the ward. These incidents have caused disruption and concern among residents, prompting the team to increase their presence in affected areas. Officers are working closely with transport authorities and local community groups to address these issues and implement effective solutions.
The team is also working to identify and deal with prolific shoplifters operating in the area. By collaborating with local businesses and employing targeted patrols, the team aims to deter theft and ensure a safer shopping environment. The team remains committed to addressing these issues and encourages residents to report any suspicious activities or concerns to help maintain the safety and security of Droylsden West.
