At around 8.20am this morning (Saturday 20 February 2021) officers from GMP’s City of Manchester Neighbourhood Team executed a Misuse of Drugs Act warrant at a property on Grindleton Avenue, Wythenshawe.

Jack Wilde (24/10/1997) of Brownwood Avenue, Offerton was charged with possession of a firearm, possession of cocaine, possession of cocaine with intent to supply and possession of cannabis.
Officers were called around 8pm on Friday 19 February 2021 to Liverpool Road, Irlam to a report that two males on a motorcycle had been involved in a collision and a firearm had been located at the scene.

Today (Friday 19 February 2021), both men were sentenced at Manchester Crown Court after both being found guilty of gross negligence manslaughter and Health and Safety offences whereby they had failed to ensure the health, safety and welfare at work of employees, tenants and the general public.
