Just before 9pm on Sunday 30 June, we were called by members of the public to reports of a suspected firearms discharge. Residents reported hearing three gunshots in the Weaste area of Salford, and through initial enquiries, we established that several shots had been fired at an address on Jane Street in Salford.

On Tuesday 25 June, police were called to a large fight in Piccadilly Gardens. One man was arrested at the scene and subsequently charged with assault and possession of an offensive weapon. The victim was taken to hospital but thankfully his injuries were not life changing or threatening.
