Two men have been arrested as part of morning warrants targeting suspected domestic abuse perpetrators.
Yesterday (Wednesday 8 January 2025), as part of Operation AVRO, neighbourhood officers in Oldham conducted a search warrant at a property on Higginshaw Lane in Royton in relation to a suspected cannabis farm.
Officers in GMP’s Bolton district supported by our Tactical Aid Unit conducted warrants at five addresses in Farnworth, Bolton as part of an investigation into stolen work vans in the area.

On Sunday 6 October 2024, we were made aware of reports of a suspected assault, believed to have taken place shortly before 5:30pm.
Officers are appealing for information following reports of a burglary at a business on Manchester Road, Bolton.
In total, seven DAPOs have been issued since the start of the Bury pilot in November 2024, with a further one set to go before the courts next week. A temporary order is currently in place whilst we await the outcome on a full order.
