We’ve arrested 12 individuals from across Greater Manchester, Lancashire and Cleveland connected with drug supply this morning (Tuesday 17 December 2024).
On Thursday 12 December 2024, Adam Hussain, (DoB 27/02/1997), of Cross Street, Bolton has been charged with conspiracy to supply a class A controlled drug, conspiracy to supply a class B controlled drug, and conspiracy to acquire criminal property.
A 15-year-old boy, who cannot be named for legal reasons, has been charged with- robbery, aggravated taking a vehicle without consent causing damage and serious injury, driving without a licence and driving with no insurance.
Terence Raymond Lewis, (10/05/1988) of Bolton Street, Blackpool has been jailed for 9 years and 9 months with an extended 3 year licence period, following a comprehensive investigation by our Child Protection Investigation Unit in Stockport.
Following an investigation by our City of Manchester South Division, a 37-year-old man was sentenced for sexual offences on Thursday 12 December 2024.
Simon Quest (11/6/2024) of no fixed abode has been jailed for four years and six months for robbery.

Our proactive city centre initiative, Operation Luka, has been praised in the latest publication of the HMICFRS National Child Protection Inspection for its effective work with partner organisations to minimise risks to children.
The incidents are being jointly investigated by our Serious and Organised Crime Group and Oldham Challenger teams and we have already made 17 arrests and recovered a firearm and a number of weapons.
