Find your local officer, get the latest crime statistics and advice, help us with appeals for information and find out what we’re doing to tackle crime in your area: Salford | Greater Manchester Police
Below is a summary of activity we've undertaken as part of the Neighbourhood Policing Week of Action campaign across Salford:

In Irlam and Cadishead, PCSOs Mark and Mark were accompanied by the Irlam Primary School Junior PCSOs.
The group worked together to ensure the Irlam cenotaph was clean and tidy.
The junior PCSOs did a fantastic job, and we thank them for their help.

On Wednesday Irlam PCSO's Mark and Mark were at Tesco offering crime reduction advice, help and support. It was fantastic to see residents, young and old, interacting and asking for advice.
These events are an opportunity for local officers to break down barriers and let the public know we are here to help.
Several members of the public asked what we're doing to tackle the issue with misuse of off-road bikes in the area. We assured them that we are taking action, but we also need your help in reporting incidents and providing intelligence. When we know the owners, we can, and will, take positive action by working in partnership with housing authorities and seizing bikes where possible.
