Speeding and traffic related offences around Astley Bridge. Priority routes are Moss Bank Way & Blackburn Road. Peak times are from mid to late afternoon
Action taken:
Your local officers will be conducting speed enforcement in the area and dealing with motorists who exceed the limit. They will also be seizing uninsured vehicles and arresting anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol. We are also working with local schools to make the roads safer around schools.

Priority:
Anti-social behaviour in the local area with youths on bikes and damage being caused to local fields/parks.
Action taken:
Officers will be proactively patrolling the areas where damage has been caused and anti-social behaviour is happening. We will work with partners to refer anyone involved in ASB.
