Bolton Town Centre

I have served with Greater Manchester Police for over 22 years and currently work as the Inspector on the South Neighbourhood Team. Prior to this current posting I have worked across a number of specialist departments within GMP and most recently I was the Neighbourhood Inspector for the West area of Bolton. My role is to manage and oversee the Performance of the four teams within the South Neighbourhood Team, driving priorities that are set from force command as well as those issues raised locally by residents and other members of the Community. Priorities for the Neighbourhood Team will change regularly due to operational demand and events though there will always be an ongoing focus on Road safety and Enforcement / Acquisitive crime / Drug Dealing and Anti- Social Behaviour as these are constant issues that are raised by the community and affect the most people. I will attend neighbourhood engagement events (PACT Meetings) and work with local partners particularly those from the Council and Housing providers as well as local Councillors to tackle the issues that matter most to residents. I would encourage members of the community to attend local meetings and share their concerns so that together we can help make our neighbourhood a safer place to live, work and visit.

I joined GMP in 2018 and began my policing career on the City of Manchester Division in North Manchester. During my time there, I worked across both North and Central clusters, spending a significant amount of time in Manchester City Centre tackling knife crime and other serious issues affecting local communities and businesses.
Following promotion, I moved into FCMU. Whilst I gained valuable experience in that role, it made me realise how much I missed district based policing and working directly with communities. This led me to seek a posting to district, where I ended up at Bolton. I have spent the last two years on DIT dealing with prisoner processes.
Even during my time on DIT, I found myself missing the proactive side of policing. When the opportunity arose to join the Neighbourhood Team, it was one I was eager to take. Although I am still relatively new to the role and have a lot to learn, I am excited about the challenges and opportunities ahead.
My ambition within the Neighbourhood Team is to be an active, visible and proactive Sergeant who supports both the community and my officers. I am passionate about problem-solving, partnership working and identifying opportunities to make a tangible difference to the people of Bolton. I look forward to strengthening relationships with partner agencies, local organisations and members of the community to address the issues that matter most to them.
I have been fortunate to join a highly experienced and motivated team. The officers within the team are knowledgeable, proactive and genuinely committed to delivering the best outcomes for our communities. I am looking forward to supporting their development, learning from their experience and working together to build on the excellent work already taking place. My goal is to create an environment where officers feel supported, empowered and encouraged to be innovative in tackling local issues, whilst maintaining the highest standards of neighbourhood policing.

I have served with Greater Manchester Police for six years and currently work as a Neighbourhood Beat Officer for Bolton Town Centre. In this role, I work closely with residents, businesses, community groups and partner agencies to address local concerns, tackle crime and improve community safety.
My current priorities include reducing anti-social behaviour, tackling theft and drug-related offences, and supporting long-term problem-solving initiatives that deliver lasting improvements for the community. I am committed to building strong relationships with local stakeholders and regularly attend community engagement events, meetings and partnership forums to ensure the concerns of residents are heard and acted upon.
Neighbourhood policing is most effective when it is supported by the community. I encourage residents, businesses and visitors to engage with local policing meetings, share their concerns and work alongside us to help make Bolton Town Centre a safer, more welcoming place to live, work and visit.

I have worked with Greater Manchester Police for 5 and half years and currently work as the neighbourhood officer for Bolton Town Centre. My role involves working with residents, local businesses and partner agencies to address crime, anti-social behaviour and other issues affecting the local community.
My current priorities include tackling retail crime, reducing anti-social behaviour and improving community confidence through visible neighbourhood policing. I regularly attend engagement events and community meetings and work closely with partner organisations to identify and resolve local issues.

I have served with Greater Manchester Police for 18 years and currently work as a PCSO within the Bolton Town Centre neighbourhood team.

My role involves working closely with residents, local businesses and partner agencies to address local concerns and help keep the town centre a safe and welcoming place.

My current responsibilities include tackling anti-social behaviour, supporting local businesses, addressing community concerns and maintaining a visible neighbourhood policing presence.
