Priority:
Speeding and road related offences around the Crompton area. Priority routes are Halliwell Road / Moss Bank Way / Crompton Way / Blackburn Road. Peak times are mid to late afternoon.
Action taken:
Your local officers will be conducting speed enforcement in the area and dealing with motorists who exceed the limit. They will also be seizing uninsured vehicles and arresting anyone under the influence of drugs or alcohol. We are also working with local schools to make the roads safer around schools.

Priority:
Beggars standing at the junction of Turton Street/Kay Street/Topp Way/A666 and approaching motorists for money.
Action taken:
Your local officers will be engaging with the beggars at the location to identify who they are and move them from the junction. We are working with partner agencies, such as Bolton Councils Rough Sleeping team and ACHIEVE to ensure any support required is in place/offered. Where necessary, beggars will be prosecuted under the Vagrancy Act.

Anti-social behaviour, drug misuse and environmental issues
Action taken:
Your local officers will be working with Bolton at Home and Bolton Council to tackle anti-social behaviour, drug misuse and taking in the street, as well as the overall issue of littering and untidy streets.
