Your Neighbourhood Policing Team
I am Sergeant Emily Fogg, and I manage Farnworth, Little Lever and Kearsley.
I joined Greater Manchester Police in 2019 as a Special Constable where I worked on the Salford Division, I was heavily involved in response policing during my time as a Special and I then went on to join as a Police Constable in 2020. I spent the first 4 years as a response officer in Salford and was offered the position of Temporary Sergeant in February 2024. I then moved over to Bolton upon achieving my Permanent Sergeant role in October 2024 as a Bolton Response Sergeant.
I moved to the Neighbourhood Policing Team in December 2025, and I am looking forward to getting involved in the problem-solving side of policing to ensure prevention and deterrence in the areas affecting my community.
My team is made up of experienced officers who share my passion for problem solving and preventative policing. I will ensure my team utilise and collaborate with our partners effectively; alongside being proactive in their approach to policing their community.

Anti-Social Behaviour
Action taken:
Your local neighbourhood team are working hard to ensure local issues are made a priority. The team will conduct high visibility patrolling around known ASB hotspot locations which will include Farnworth Town Centre and other areas with significant reports.

Disruption of Drug Supply
Action taken:
Your local neighbourhood team are submitting and reviewing intelligence linked to drugs supply in the area. They will be looking to disrupt supply in identified areas by patrolling and completing warrants, along with regular street surgeries .

Shoplifting - Farnworth Town Centre
Action taken:
Your local Neighbourhood Team are working with the business sector to reduce shoplifting offences in the town centre. We will take positive action with reports made and identify those responsible. We are working hard with our partners to obtain Criminal Behaviour Orders, equipping retailers and police with more powers to deal with prolific offenders.
