I have served with Greater Manchester Police for over 22 years and currently work as the Inspector on the South Neighbourhood Team. Prior to this current posting I have worked across a number of specialist departments within GMP and most recently I was the Neighbourhood Inspector for the West area of Bolton. My role is to manage and oversee the Performance of the four teams within the South Neighbourhood Team, driving priorities that are set from force command as well as those issues raised locally by residents and other members of the Community. Priorities for the Neighbourhood Team will change regularly due to operational demand and events though there will always be an ongoing focus on Road safety and Enforcement / Acquisitive crime / Drug Dealing and Anti- Social Behaviour as these are constant issues that are raised by the community and affect the most people. I will attend neighbourhood engagement events (PACT Meetings) and work with local partners particularly those from the Council and Housing providers as well as local Councillors to tackle the issues that matter most to residents. I would encourage members of the community to attend local meetings and share their concerns so that together we can help make our neighbourhood a safer place to live, work and visit.

I am Sergeant Emily Fogg, and I manage Farnworth and Kearsley.

I joined Greater Manchester Police in 2019 as a Special Constable where I worked on the Salford Division, I was heavily involved in response policing during my time as a Special and I then went on to join as a Police Constable in 2020. I spent the first 4 years as a response officer in Salford and was offered the position of Temporary Sergeant in February 2024. I then moved over to Bolton upon achieving my Permanent Sergeant role in October 2024 as a Bolton Response Sergeant.

I moved to the Neighbourhood Policing Team in December 2025, and I am looking forward to getting involved in the problem-solving side of policing to ensure prevention and deterrence in the areas affecting my community.

My team is made up of experienced officers who share my passion for problem solving and preventative policing. I will ensure my team utilise and collaborate with our partners effectively; alongside being proactive in their approach to policing their community.

I have been a serving officer with Greater Manchester Police for the past six years, gaining a broad range of operational experience across both response and neighbourhood policing. My policing career began as a Response Officer, where I spent four years attending emergency and priority incidents, investigating offences, and providing frontline support to communities during some of their most challenging circumstances.
For the past two years, I have worked as a Neighbourhood Beat Officer, focusing on long-term problem solving and community engagement. In this role, I have developed strong relationships with residents, partner agencies, and local businesses to address issues affecting quality of life and public confidence.
I particularly enjoy proactive policing and dedicating my time to tackling matters that have a direct impact on local communities, including anti-social behaviour, road safety, and persistent community concerns. I am passionate about identifying those responsible for causing harm, developing effective interventions, and working collaboratively with partners to create safer neighbourhoods. My approach combines enforcement, prevention, and engagement to achieve lasting positive outcomes for the communities I serve.

I have served with Greater Manchester Police for 6 years and currently work as a PCSO for Kearsley and Little Lever. My role is to work closely with residents, businesses and partner agencies to address local concerns and improve community safety.
My current focus includes vehicle crime, drug dealing and supporting long-term problem solving within the community. I regularly attend neighbourhood engagement events and work with local partners to tackle the issues that matter most to residents.
