At around 9.20pm on Wednesday 10 June 2026, we were called to reports of a suspected arson at an address on Eastgrove Avenue, Bolton.
One arrest has been made following the execution of a warrant at an address in Bolton this morning.
Our Modern Slavery and Organised Immigration Crime (MSOIC) team, also supported by the Criminal and Financial Investigation Department of Home Office immigration, executed a warrant in Bolton following an investigation into organised criminal networks across Greater Manchester.
False accounts such as these will impact the confidence genuine victims and survivors of rape have in the police and criminal justice system. Our message to them is when you are ready, we are here to listen to you and support you, not to accuse you of lying.
Cormac Sale (14/03/2003), of Ina Avenue, Bolton, has been jailed for 10 years and eight months after a collision between a car and motorbike in Horwich on Saturday 14 December 2024. Sale has also been banned from driving for just over 12 years.
