ASB around business and residential properties in the town centre of Market Street and Pavillion Square

Increased reports of youths engaged in ASB around the area targeting residential addresses and business properties in the evening as well as building sites out of hours on new housing developments. As part of an open Problem Solving record the Team will be working with the local authority and schools to identify persons present and or partaking in ASB so enforcement action can be taken and those involved referred onto the ASB Pathway.

Drug Driving / Driving Standards

There will be a focus on vehicles involved in ASB and other offences including drink drug driving. This is particularly prevalent around iconic locations such as the Water Tower on Bolton Road. Officers have made a number of arrests and conducted stop searches / seized vehicles around this location during January and will continue to target the area going into Spring .
