ASB: ASB Drug dealing, Anti Social Driving
I would like to share with you some targeted activity of Bury Police in relation to recent issues around the Windsor Road and Downham Estate area of Sedgley.
Police from the Local Response Team were deployed to the area on Friday evening to tackle anti-social behaviour and reports of drug dealing. The operation was devised by PC Tomlinson (Bury Response Team) in response to the recent issues.
The operation saw 7 arrests in the area as well as 11 stop searches (one positive search). Bury Police, including colleagues from the Neighbourhood Policing Team will continue to listen to concerns from residents and target our patrols at areas where Anti-social behaviour and criminality are present.
Officers reported a positive response from residents to their presence and I am sure you will agree the outcomes of the operation will serve as a reminder to criminals that they are not welcome in our area.
I would ask that if you have any information or concerns to report these in the usual way via the GMP website or anonymously via CrimeStoppers on the telephone number 0800 555 111.
For any more general issues or if you wish to be placed in touch with your local Police Officer or PCSO please email [email protected] or call 0161 856 8204 (office hours).
