I have been a police officer since 2017. I am one of three neighbourhood sergeants covering Withington, Burnage, Fallowfield & Levenshulme and have been in this role since 2022. Having worked on the same area for a number of years, I have developed an understanding of the unique issues affecting the area and what is important to the local communities. I am responsible for police officers and police community support officers aligned to Burnage and Levenshulme and oversee the work that they do to engage with you, prevent and investigate crime and ASB that is occurring in your area.
I have served with Greater Manchester Police for 7 years and currently work as the neighbourhood officer for Burnage. My role is to work closely with residents, businesses and partner agencies to address local concerns and improve community safety.
My current focus includes OP Skyvale which is a dedicated operation set up to tackle issues with speeding and anti-social driving on Kingsway, Anti-social behaviour and supporting long-term problem solving within the community. I regularly attend neighbourhood engagement events and work with local partners to tackle the issues that matter most to residents.
I encourage members of the community to attend local meetings and share their concerns so that together we can help make our neighbourhood a safer place to live, work and visit.

Within my role I organise a monthly drop in session in the local library for residents and businesses and I also attend with my Police Colleagues Coffee with a Cop which is also a monthly event which allows residents and businesses to tell us about issues effecting them
I also attend Community Events which are staged at various places within my beat area.
By being out on patrol and attending the above events it is a opportunity to work together to make the Neighbourhood Area a Safer Place to Live Work and Visit
I have served with Greater Manchester Police since 2003, undertaking a variety of roles across Response, Neighbourhood Policing, and Intelligence Development during my years of service.
In April 2025, I joined the City of Manchester South Neighbourhood Team, where my initial focus has been on reducing neighbourhood crime, including burglary, robbery, and vehicle crime across the communities of Fallowfield, Withington, Old Moat, Burnage, and Levenshulme.
My team is committed to tackling the issues that matter most to local residents. Through a partnership-based approach to crime reduction and proactive action against repeat offenders, we work to keep our neighbourhoods safe and ensure our communities remain confident in our ability to deliver effective policing.
Engagement with the community is at the heart of what we do. The local policing team regularly hosts Coffee with a Cop events, police surgeries, and PACT (Police and Communities Together) meetings, providing opportunities for residents to raise concerns, share ideas, and help shape local policing priorities. Details of these events are advertised through GMP channels.
We encourage all members of the community to continue providing information and intelligence that helps inform our policing decisions, supports ongoing investigations, and brings offenders to justice. Working together, we can make our neighbourhoods safer places to live, work, and visit.
