Your Neighbourhood Policing Team
Your Neighbourhood Policing Team is a group of local police officers and staff dedicated to serving your community. The team is made up of police officers and a dedicated Police Community Support Officer (PCSO). These are supported by additional officers and staff from the wider area.
We work closely with local authorities, community leaders and residents to decide our policing priorities for your area. This helps us to find useful, long-term solutions to local problems, while maintaining our wider focus on the basics: to fight, prevent and reduce crime, whilst keeping people safe and caring for victims.

E-bike Enabled Theft, Robbery and Drugs and Knife Crime Offences
Action taken:
•Conducting high-visibility and plain-clothes patrols in hotspot locations identified through crime pattern analysis.
•Working with our Neighbourhood Tasking Team, CCTV operators and local officers to identify, track and intercept e-bike enabled offenders.
•Targeting known offenders through home visits, warrants and intelligence-led activity.
•Seizing illegally modified e-bikes and taking enforcement action for associated traffic and drugs offences.
•Engaging with local businesses and delivery riders to provide crime-prevention advice and encourage reporting of suspicious activity. -

Action taken:
•Joint patrols with partner agencies including the Local Authority Outreach Team, Rough Sleeper Team and commissioned support services.
•Offering immediate support pathways including accommodation referrals, substance-misuse support, and safeguarding interventions.
•Using problem-solving patrol plans around persistent begging hotspots.
•Taking proportionate enforcement action where individuals refuse support and continue to cause harassment, alarm, or distress, including use of Community Protection Warnings/Notices where appropriate. -

Anti-Social Behaviour involving youths and individuals suspected to be under the influence
Action taken:
•Intelligence-led patrols, early intervention, and coordinated multi-agency problem solving.
•Safeguard vulnerable individuals by facilitating timely referrals to housing, health, mental health, and addiction recovery services.
•Focus activity on identified hotspot locations, informed by demand data, partner intelligence, and community feedback.
•Use case management and problem-solving forums to address root causes, reduce repeat ASB, and prevent escalation.
•Proportionate Use of Civil Powers - All enforcement decisions will be made with due regard to vulnerability, safeguarding duties, and equality considerations.
