This morning (Thursday 20 August), officers from the Salford Neighbourhoods Policing Team (NPT), alongside the Challenger unit and our Tactical Aid Unit (TAU) executed five simultaneous warrants at addresses; four on Hopwood Street, Pendlebury, and one at Castle Way, Clifton.

The charges relate to an incident on Liverpool Road, Irlam on Sunday 29 March.
The use of and dealing of drugs continues to be a problem in the area. Reports suggest this is prominent in the park areas.
Increased patrols of both plain clothes and high visibility officers, to proactively tackle drug dealers, in the areas reported. Intelligence is regularly reviewed for Drug related warrants, to be executed.
Use of Off road Bikes, to cause anti social behaviour and other crimes
Use of both covert and overt police officers, working together with specialist operations teams, to combat off road bikers. Regular operations undertaken to target E-bikes, working together with partner agencies.
