Inspector Matt Christian joined the police service in 2017 and has dedicated his career to frontline policing. With a strong background in Response Policing, he has consistently served on the front line, demonstrating a deep commitment to community safety and public service.

Now serving as the Neighbourhood Inspector for Salford, Matt brings a unique and personal perspective to the role, having grown up in the area himself. His local roots provide him with a strong understanding of the city’s diverse communities and the challenges they face. He works closely with local partners and residents to ensure Salford remains a safe place to live, work, and study.

Matt prides himself on delivering the highest standard of service to the communities he serves. He is passionate about listening to local concerns and driving meaningful improvements that enhance people’s lives. Neighbourhood Sergeant for Swinton and Pendlebury areas

I have served with Greater Manchester Police for over 8 years and currently work as the neighbourhood Sergeant for Swinton and Pendlebury areas. My role is manage the Neighbourhood Team of officer and staff that work within this community and ultimately work alongside those communities and partners to tackle local issues and priorities that are important to them.

I work closely with residents, businesses and partner agencies to address local concerns and improve community safety.

My current focus includes anti-social behaviours and driving on our streets and open areas and supporting long-term problem solving within the community. I host and regularly attend neighbourhood engagement events such as PACT meetings and work with local partners to tackle the issues that matter most to residents.

I encourage members of the community to attend local meetings and share their concerns so that together we can help make our neighbourhood a safer place to live, work and visit.

I am Sergeant Jen Farrimond, the Neighbourhood Sergeant for Agecroft, Pendlebury and Forest Bank, based at Swinton Police Station.

I have served with Greater Manchester Police for 17 years and have been a Sergeant for the past five years. Before joining neighbourhood policing two years ago, I spent the majority of my career on response policing.

My focus is on tackling anti-social behaviour, preventing crime, addressing community concerns and working with partner agencies to improve safety and wellbeing across our neighbourhoods.

I encourage residents, businesses and community groups to engage with their local neighbourhood team, share their concerns and work with us to help make our communities safer places to live, work and visit.

I am PC James Clarke, a Neighbourhood Police Constable covering Agecroft and Pendlebury. Working alongside PC Tom White, I am committed to supporting local communities, addressing concerns and helping to make our neighbourhoods safer places to live and work.

I have served with Greater Manchester Police for four years and have developed experience across a range of policing roles. During my service, I have worked in response policing, investigations and as a Prison Liaison Officer. These roles have provided me with a broad understanding of the challenges faced by communities and the criminal justice system.

My focus is on tackling anti-social behaviour, disrupting criminal activity and working with partners to address issues that affect residents' quality of life. I believe in a proactive approach to neighbourhood policing and take pride in finding long-term solutions to local problems.

I encourage residents to engage with their local neighbourhood team, report concerns and speak with us when they see us on patrol. Community information is vital in helping us understand local priorities and deliver effective policing across Agecroft and Pendlebury.

I am PC Tom White, a Neighbourhood Police Constable covering Agecroft and Pendlebury. Alongside PC James Clarke, I work closely with residents, community groups and partner agencies to address local concerns and help keep our neighbourhoods safe.

I have served with Greater Manchester Police for three years. I began my policing career in an investigations role, developing skills in gathering evidence, building cases and supporting victims. I have since moved into neighbourhood policing, where I enjoy working directly with the community and tackling the issues that have the greatest impact on people's daily lives.

My focus is on disrupting drug-related activity and addressing anti-social behaviour through proactive policing, targeted patrols and partnership working.

I encourage residents to speak to us when they see us on patrol, attend community events and share information about issues affecting their area. Working together helps us identify priorities and achieve lasting improvements for our communities.
